Spring Hammock Preserve: Lake Jessup and the Senator
This newly completed stretch of the FT goes through some of the largest trees in Florida. The old growth cypress at Big Tree Park and around lake jessup are impressive. "Its larger then the fairchild oak" barks the kiz
With little time remaining we decided to do the 2000 meters down to lake jessup and back. When we got to the end of the boardwalk there was this red shoulder hawk chewing on a craw dad. Check out this closeup. The Kiz and Kyle had to run back the 2000 meters to make the flight. The pickering's were up to the task, Steerski was not. Til we meet again on the trail.
